As the end of the senior year approaches for the Class of 2025, many students have begun to look back at their four years at R.J. Reynolds. The Class of 2025 is full of kind-hearted, talented, and inspirational students, most importantly, Charlotte Hubbard.
Hubbard is known for her immense support and kindness across the RJR community. She has participated in soccer, field hockey, SGSC, chess club, yearbook, academic team, and National Honor Society while attending RJR.
“The environment and people at Reynolds are really what make the difference here,” Hubbard said. “Getting to be a part of so many activities like soccer has led me to some of my best friends and memories.”
Hubbard notes that there will be countless aspects of RJR to miss in the coming years, the biggest of which may be her time on the Reynolds soccer team.
“From eating together, practices after school, and late-night games, this team has taught me more than I would have ever expected,” Hubbard said. “There have been so many ups and downs throughout the four years on the team that I’ve just learned to go with the flow and be open to change.”
Hubbard is a key player not only on the field but also off the field. She is referred to as everyone’s hype girl with the positive spirit and unconditional love she brings to the team. A student like this completely alters the chemistry of a team, bringing everyone closer together.
Many will be impacted by Hubbard’s graduation, as she has touched so many lives here at RJR. She plans to attend Wake Forest University next fall and continue her impact on others there.
